Kay Armstrong, our Stake's most productive Arbitrator, phoned yesterday to call a situation to my attention. She asked that all of our Indexers and Arbitrators take notice of the specific guidelines for Indexing and Arbitrating batches of records from Ontario.
Like all new projects, we ask that you PLEASE read the "Project Information" TAB message any time you start a new project. Sometimes, these instructions are the same as others you may have worked on, but some times, there are instructions specific and unique to this project. That is the case with Ontario Births.
Instructions for this project state that there are back sides of pages and only specific information will be available on each page. You are to Index only what is available and then engineers at Family Search join the pages together for Arbitration. This is the part where Arbitrators should read those Project Information Tab messages too. Instructions say to look at two pages to see the information combined onto one Indexed form.
We are all trying to submit the very most accurate records possible. Please help us be accurate by READING project information especially on new or unfamiliar batches you are going to work on.
Thank you so much!!!
